Every rating, backed by a full year of work.

wrk.wise records who did each step of the work, all year. At appraisal time, ratings draw on that record, not on what someone remembers.

The problem

Twelve months of work. Rated on the last four weeks.

Managers remember the last few weeks and the people who speak up most. When a rating is questioned, HR has no record to point to.

Sound familiar?
Managers remember the last few weeks, not the whole year.
Five people do the work, and only one name gets the credit.
A hard task counts the same as an easy one.
The same work gets a different score from a different manager.
When someone questions their rating, HR has no record to check.

What the manager remembers at appraisal time

The work happened all year. The rating only saw the end of it.

How wrk.wise fixes it

Build it once and run it every appraisal cycle.

Set up each SOP once, including how much each step counts. From then on, wrk.wise records the work as it happens. Here are the questions it answers for HR.

“What did they do all year?”

Tasks come from your SOPs, so the record builds as people work. Nobody has to log anything, and January counts as much as December.

Work records

June21 tasks
December16 tasks

“Who actually did the work?”

Every task can name who did it, who answered for it and who helped. When IT, admin and HR each handle part of an onboarding, each of them gets the credit.

“Was it hard or routine?”

Each step and each SOP carries its own weight, set in advance. A tough task counts for more, and running long on a hard job isn't judged like being late on an easy one.

“How much does opinion count?”

Feedback comes from three directions: colleagues under the same manager, the manager and the team. Every question has a guide for what a low and a high score mean. You decide, once, how much of the final score comes from feedback and how much from the work record.

“Why did they get this rating?”

Every score traces back to the dated tasks behind it. When someone asks, HR can answer with the record.

FAQ

Questions HR teams ask about wrk.wise

How does wrk.wise score performance?

Each task is scored from the record: how much the step weighs, how much its SOP counts and how strictly lateness is judged for that kind of work. HR then decides how much of the final score comes from this record, and how much from feedback by colleagues, the manager and the team.

Does it replace our HRMS or payroll?

No. Your HRMS handles attendance, leave and salaries. wrk.wise records the work itself, so appraisals have evidence behind them. The two work side by side.

Will employees feel watched?

wrk.wise records the work people already do in it, and nobody has to log extra activity. The record is there to show what someone carried, so quiet, steady work gets counted too.

Does it remove bias from appraisals?

No system removes it completely. Every manager still has their own standards. wrk.wise gives their judgment a full year's record to work from, adds feedback from colleagues and the team, and gives every rater the same guide for what each score means. You decide how much the feedback counts.

Will this create more work for HR?

There's some work at the start: setting up each SOP and deciding how much each step counts. Someone who knows the process well, such as a senior employee or a consultant, can do this with you. After that, the record builds on its own as people work, so appraisal season means less chasing managers for evidence, not more. Start with one team and one SOP, such as onboarding, and add more as you go.
